Game Designer

In this role you will be responsible for design and prototyping systems and features across the Horizon ecosystem alongside other designers and engineers, working with advanced agentic tools to give the power of creation to more people.

• 3+ years of commercial feature design experience within games
• Interest in and understanding of a broad variety of game genres and styles
• Experience with tools such as Figma and a good understanding of creating comprehensive documentation and designs
• Experience creating comprehensive design documentation and presenting designs to cross-discipline teams
• Experience constructing and working within UI and mechanic design systems
• Experience with AI creation tools and systems
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Experience with UI design or artistic skills for creating original raster/vector art for mockups
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Experience with user experience research and feedback, and using both qualitative and quantitative data to improve designs and propose new solutions
• Knowledge and/or experience with game development engines (Unreal, Unity, etc)
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
