Telemachus is a high-growth London startup that has scaled from zero to $15M in annualized revenue in just 11 months by rebuilding companies from the ground up using AI and minimal headcount.

You will design and build the "machine" that creates and operates these companies. This involves architecting AI systems, automating complex commercial processes, and developing internal products that allow tiny teams to do the work of hundreds. You'll own technical problems end-to-end, moving seamlessly between abstract reasoning and production-grade implementation.

• High degree of autonomy and ownership; there are no product managers or platform layers between you and the real-world commercial outcomes.

• Build AI systems capable of understanding and acting upon distributed information across emails, databases, and external software platforms.
• Design and implement the data models and infrastructure required to launch and scale new business units rapidly and reliably.
• Take full ownership of technical solutions, from understanding commercial requirements to deploying and observing systems in production.

• Exceptional technical builder with experience as a CTO or founding engineer, or a generalist with a background from places like Jane Street.
• Proven ability to solve complex, poorly specified problems by building substantial systems from scratch rather than just contributing to existing ones.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to choose the right engineering problems to solve to drive meaningful business growth.
