Contract: Initial 12 Month Contract
Location: London (Hybrid, 3 Days per Week in Office)
Day Rate: Up to £400 per day (Inside IR35)

Our client is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join a high-performing mobile engineering team responsible for applications used by millions of customers worldwide. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale consumer-facing products, delivering high-quality mobile experiences while collaborating within a modern agile environment.

• Design, develop and enhance native iOS applications using Swift.
• Build scalable, maintainable solutions focused on performance and user experience.
• Work closely with product, design, QA and engineering teams to deliver new features.
• Debug, profile and optimise applications to ensure reliability and responsiveness.
• Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices.
• Refactor and modernise Legacy code where required.
• Produce technical documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong commercial experience developing native iOS applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Swift and exposure to Objective-C.
• Experience with UIKit, MVVM architecture and REST API integrations.
• Familiarity with build and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and performance optimisation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within distributed agile teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
