This isn't another backend engineering position where you'll be maintaining someone else's infrastructure.

You’ll be joining a small, exceptionally talented team responsible for building the systems that enable an AI native platform to operate at enormous scale. We're talking about technology capable of processing tens of millions of lines of code per customer, managing substantial LLM workloads and delivering the performance, reliability and security demanded by some of the world's largest organisations.

The engineering challenges are anything but ordinary.

From designing distributed systems and optimising large scale processing to developing the infrastructure behind sophisticated AI applications, you'll be solving problems that sit at the intersection of backend engineering, infrastructure and artificial intelligence. • Engineering for serious scale: Building robust, high performance backend infrastructure capable of supporting demanding enterprise workloads.
• Powering AI at enterprise level: Tackling the challenges of high volume LLM processing, token throughput, real time operations and AI provider reliability.
• Creating the foundations for faster innovation: Developing shared services, abstractions and internal tools that enable engineering teams to move quickly.
• Solving complex distributed systems challenges: Working across databases, job orchestration, asynchronous processing and infrastructure reliability.
• Shaping technical architecture: Making important decisions around scalability, observability, authentication, system performance and resilience.
• Raising the engineering bar: Helping establish strong engineering practices and building technology designed to perform from day one.
