Trading Systems Engineer Graduate

Overview

Susquehanna is seeking talented graduates to join their growing London office in August 2027.

As a trading system engineer youll work in a computationally intensive role that will allow you to use your strong technical skills to solve problems at the intersection of trading and technology.

You will have the chance to work on challenging engineering problems across our trading teams in areas such as trading systems engineering low-latency C strategy development and high-performance C libraries that enable large-scale quantitative research and data processing. Youll work on the desk side by side with senior developers who understand the nuances of building performant reliable systems for complex trading strategies.

You will begin with a comprehensive education program designed to build a broad understanding of the role trading system engineers play across our trading teams. Once you complete the program youll be placed on a trading team that aligns with your interests and background. This will give you the best preparation possible for a career in trading system engineering.

Class of 2027:You are a masters or bachelors student in their final year of study majoring ina quantitative and/or STEM discipline such as computer science computer engineeringmathematicsordata science for example.

Clear Communicator:You enjoy building relationships with those you work closely with and are comfortable sharing ideas expressing your thoughts and listening to the views of others.

Ambitious:Youresomeone that enjoys setting personal goals and givingyourall to achieve them. Be it in Arts Sports Academics or another passion;yourenot afraid to put in the effort to reach your full potential.

Technically Proficient: Strong software development skills in C C or Rust along with some Python experience.

You will have exceptional quantitative logical reasoning and analytical skills.

Problem Solver:When it comes tosolving problems you use clear and sound reasoning.

Yourerational and like to use numbers and data tocome up with sensible solutions.
