Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack AI​/ML

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector - Data Center Services team, youwould be an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

• Implements creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Develops secure high-quality production code and collaborates with team members to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
• Leads evaluation sessions with internal and external teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.
• Design and deliver AI enabled features for Data Center Services, including time series anomaly detection, predictive capacity planning, ticket NLP, and knowledge retrieval.
• Participate in communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.
• Contributes to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced knowledge in frontend development with Angular.
• In-depth knowledge in state management leveraging NGRX.
• Skilled in designing and executing functional and integration tests for Angular applications.
• Beginner/Intermediate knowledge in frontend development with React.
• Advanced knowledge in backend development with NodeJS.
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Proficiency in mock-up designs using tools such as Figma.
• Understanding of agile ceremonies such as Scrum, stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning, fostering effective team collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).

• Computer vision experience (OpenCV and deep learning frameworks).
• Model evaluation frameworks and automated test sets for both classical ML and LLMs.
• Understanding of Event Driven Architecture (Kafka).
• Knowledge of MySQL.
