Data Engineer - Global Energy Trading Firm

Your work will land directly in front of traders and analysts at a global firm. That is not a small thing.

You are stepping into a fast-paced trading environment where the dashboards and web applications you build are not sitting in a backlog. They are being used. The people using them are senior, they have opinions, and they will tell you exactly what they need. That kind of exposure early in your career is rare.

Day to day you are creating dashboards, and developing web applications that give traders and analysts the information they need to make decisions. You are working closely with senior stakeholders, translating what they need into something that actually works, and iterating quickly when requirements shift.

The firm operates globally and the pace reflects that. There is always something moving, always a new problem to solve. The team is collaborative and you will not be left to figure things out alone, but you will be expected to take ownership of your work and push it forward.

This would be a great second role in your career. You have picked up some data engineering experience and you have worked with data visualisation or dashboarding tools. Now you want to do that somewhere the work genuinely matters and the environment pushes you to grow.

If you have been thinking about what the next step looks like, moving into a trading environment where your output has real visibility is a compelling answer.
