Position:
VEHICLE WASHER
.

• £12.21 per hour from day 1.
• 4‑weekly Lunar pay.
• 13‑week probation period.
• 40 hours per week.
• Tue‑Sat shift pattern (10:00 – 18:00).

You will be working as part of a small team of up to 25 colleagues supporting the Transport and Fleet Lorry. The role requires a valid driving licence and the ability to pass the driving Rigid Lorry in‑yard test. It is suitable for someone with previous experience in a lorry wash environment or a Multi‑Temperature Distribution Centre.

Desirable skills (not essential) include knowledge of Mechanical Handling Equipment and experience maintaining a high standard of cleaning within large, busy areas.

• Motivation, commitment and flexibility.
• Self‑driven with the ability to meet targets within set timescales, in a physically demanding role.

Due to the nature of the work, repetitive lifting and prolonged standing are required. It is essential that the successful applicant is capable of carrying out this type of work.
