LORRY DRIVER

Responsibilities

• Drive company lorry to deliver goods to customers, sites, warehouses and other locations as arranged.

• Assist in loading and unloading goods; ensure items are handled carefully and safely.

• Check quantity and condition of goods during collection and delivery; report any shortage or damage.

• Ensure goods are properly secured on the lorry to prevent movement or damage during transportation.

• Follow delivery schedule, plan routes and complete deliveries on time.

• Maintain cleanliness and basic condition of the lorry; inform supervisor of any defects or servicing needs.

• Comply with all traffic rules, road safety regulations and company policies.

• Assist in simple warehouse / general duties when there is no delivery (e.g. packing, arranging goods).

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the company.
