About the Role
- Working within the Vehicle Fleet Management Team.
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and repairs to DVSA standard including HGV.
- Opportunities for training and experience.
Vehicle Fleet Management (VFM) is a small experienced team aimed at providing vehicles and compliance for a wide variety of light and heavy goods vehicles. Our goal is to maintain high compliance standards to ensure council services operate with minimal disruption to residents and their expectations.
Reporting to the Head of Fleet.
About You- Can work within a busy team, being flexible and working a split shift pattern.
- Enthusiastic to learn, progress your career and attend training.
- Has good, extensive knowledge of HGV and LGV defect finding & repair to DVSA standard.
- Level 3 HGV mechanical qualification.
- Able to complete inspection & repair documentation and keep good records in line with O Licence and DVSA standards.
The Role
- Basic DBS.
