Descriptiondnata Catering UK are actively seeking Dock Security to join our successful and vibrant team at London Gatwick Airport. As Dock Security you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our airline customers on time in line with scheduling requirements.

Key Responsibilities- Carry out all dock security functions as per training and CAA regulations.
- Ensure items are handled carefully to prevent damage and loaded/unloaded according to schedule.
- Confirm presence, correct packing, and organization of items for efficient loading.
- Inspect catering carts and equipment for cleanliness, completeness, and safety compliance.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or safety concerns to the Operations Manager/Supervisor immediately.
- Help organize and maintain the dock and storage areas, ensuring they are clean, orderly and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food items and use of protective equipment.
- Coordinate with drivers, loaders and other team members to ensure security protocols are followed, maintaining on‑time deliveries.
- Communicate any issues or delays promptly to the Supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of documentation as required by the Supervisor.
- Ensure paperwork is completed and submitted accurately and on time.
Other duties may include additional tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For- You must have a full driving licence – preferably standard manual Class
B. - Experience in driving a van.
- Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑moving environment.
- Clean and safe workstation maintenance, promoting good health and safety practices.
- Willingness to undertake manual handling, including bending, pushing and reaching.
