Linehaul Driver - Class 1

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of Drivers.

Working hours
: 48 per week. Due to the nature of linehaul operations, start and finish times are determined by the route (tour) covered. Shifts generally fall within the window of 17:00 to 05:00.

Salary
: £15.14 per hour. Premium paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm (£1.63), and 10pm - 6am (£1.97).

• Driving vehicles in our fleet on defined routes
• Holding responsibility for the security of the vehicle
• Conducting procedural checks on vehicles, documentation and loads
• Ensuring vehicle is always operated safely and legally
• Adhering to tachograph and driver’s hours regulations
• Operating in line with Fed Ex Health and Safety and other company policies and procedures

• Hold a full valid C+E licence along with any required Driver cards and certification
• Be able to complete all required training
• Be able to work independently
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
