Responsibilities

Ability to work night shift and morning shift as per rota, including swapping shifts as needed.

Collect goods from a manufacturer or warehouse and distribute to our branches.

Plan the delivery route in the most efficient way and follow rota.

Load the vehicle so that the planned route matches the order of deliveries.

Contact recipients of the delivery while en‑route to ensure their presence.

Update the tracking system regularly so customers know when their items will be delivered.

Record daily and weekly mileage as well as fuel usage.

Make deliveries, share any associated invoice with recipients and obtain customers’ signatures.

Update delivery records and return undelivered items.

Carry out multi‑drop deliveries to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Adhere to all legislative requirements.

Lift and carry heavy and light boxes; you will be required to load your vehicle.

Sweep out crates, tidy the packing area and clean the van after deliveries.

Essential Experience

Good knowledge of London geography.
Reliable and committed.
Clean driving licence, no ban or endorsement.

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience in a food production environment.
Experience delivering bread and pastries.
