HGV Class 2 Driver

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, shifts available (05:00‑14:00 or 07:00‑16:00)

Location:

Croydon

Pay rate: £17.73 per hour

• Drive to planned and ad‑hoc collection locations, collecting fly‑tipped material, bags and bins
• Use a tablet to receive and manage jobs
• Lifting items of all weights and sizes
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle as per the driver operator handbook
• Ensure all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation, including security and weight of loads
• Leave the carriageway clean and clean up any spillages
• Work bank holidays as required

• Essential
  :
  • Cat C (Class
    2) licence
  • Up‑to‑date driver CPC
  • Digi / Tachograph card
• Desirable
  :
  • RCV/Waste Industry experience
  • Clean driving licence
