HGV Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Grays area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team.

Shifts:

Run across Monday to Sunday (weekends included)

Hours:

01:00am starts 13:00pm
-15:00pm starts Pay Rate:
Class 2 Afters - £15.86 per hour rising to £16.61 per hour after 12 weeks PAYE Nights- £17.10 per hour rising to £17.80 per hour after 12 weeks PAYE Class 1 Afters - £17.22 per hour rising to £17.92 per hour after 12 weeks PAYE Nights - £19.12 per hour rising to £19.87 per hour after 12 weeks PAYE

The role:

Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category

C). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
