Location: Victoria (London) S&T

Salary: Starting from IMC3 £ 45,044 (if already on a maintenance contract) or Standard Maintenance Contract £45,699 + location allowance

Shift Pattern: Days, nights and weekends (Safety critical role)

We are seeking a motivated, safety‑focused individual to support the Team Leader in organising and motivating the team, ensuring safe delivery of work. The role includes inspections, fault‑finding, maintenance, renewal work and occasional leadership responsibilities.

• Deliver work safely and efficiently in line with approved systems, standards, and procedures.
• Carry out inspections, maintenance, and fault‑finding on signalling equipment.
• Ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are fit for use and properly maintained.
• Accurately report completed work and maintain essential records.

• Proven experience in planning and implementing safe systems of work.
• Strong team player with the ability to motivate and embed a culture of safety within your team.
• Knowledge of signalling inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal techniques.
• Relevant competencies for the role (or willingness to achieve them); ideally NVQ Level 1 or 2 (or equivalent experience).
• A valid driving licence and willingness to drive.

• Familiarity with industry standards, procedures and instructions.
• Working towards or holding SMTH and IRSE competencies.

This is a safety critical role. Candidates must pass a medical assessment and be subject to drug and alcohol testing. The role requires working days, nights and weekends – flexibility is essential.
