We are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Driver for our client. The role involves convenience store delivery work

Estimated minimum weekly pay based on 55 hours: £1,140.70.

Expected minimum annual earnings: £59,316.40.

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Always provide excellent customer service and take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
• Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
• Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised.
• Possess an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service.
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift.
• Planned average 10 hour shift.
• Ongoing fixed days of work available.
• Consistent regular ongoing work and job security.

• Full HGV CLASS 1 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements.
• Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards.
• Strong understanding of Driver’s Hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive.
• Excellent geographical knowledge.
• Customer-focused attitude.
