M1​/M2 Traffic Management Operative

Scope of Role

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will work with both direct labour and sub‑contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

• Set up temporary traffic lights at required roads.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary traffic lights, ensuring the public abides by regulations.
• Report any necessary information to the site or operations manager.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within required time scales.
• Assist with diversion of traffic.
• Support unloading/loading of materials.
• Report plant and vehicle defects.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act and the provided RAMS.
• Perform safe working practices as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.

All candidates must have experience in one or more of the following positions: M1 or M2 Operative. We are seeking both operatives and drivers with traffic management experience.

• Lantra approved Traffic Management qualification.
• Pass a Drugs & Alcohol check.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
