Micromobility Coordinator

Our client is currently seeking a Micromobility Coordinator on a fixed term contract basis to join their team in the London. This role is pivotal to managing and coordinating the introduction of Ebike and Escooter contracts, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the implementation of Ebike and Escooter contract operations with providers like Lime, Voi, and Forest
Managing coordination and logistics for 200 non-docking sites and potential installation of (Apply online only) additional bays
Ensuring bays are strategically placed to avoid blocking junctions and other critical areas
Collaborating with highways and traffic orders teams to facilitate the installation of necessary signs and lines
Identifying new micromobility bay locations, specifically focusing on areas with low useage
Providing strong justifications for site selections
Conducting one day a week of site identification, using existing and new data
Ensuring efficient communication and coordination among various stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Experience in transportation and transport logistics, particularly within the micromobility sector
A strong commitment to sustainability and promoting eco-friendly alternatives
Knowledge of highways regulations and street works procedures
Competence in coordinating large-scale transportation projects and managing multiple stakeholders
Excellent organisational and coordination skills
Ability to justify and effectively communicate site selection decisions to varied audiences
Understanding of, or experience in, highways inspection would be advantageous
