Immediate Start Available Join an Essential Waste & Recycling Team We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver/Loader to join a busy Refuse & Recycling team based in Sudbury, Suffolk . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking for consistent weekday work within an essential public service operation. This is a hands-on role that combines driving responsibilities with loading duties, helping to ensure collection rounds are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with service requirements.

Key Responsibilities Carry out daily refuse and recycling collections across designated routes Operate HGV vehicles and collection machinery safely and efficiently Assist with loading duties to support the crew and complete routes on schedule Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed Complete all relevant paperwork and operational records accurately and in real time Carry out daily vehicle and machinery inspections before and after use, reporting any defects promptly Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles and equipment Follow safe lifting, manual handling, and health & safety procedures at all times Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with residents, customers, and other road users Work professionally and positively as part of a team What We're Looking For Valid HGV Class 2 (Category

C) Driving Licence No more than 6 penalty points Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card Willingness to assist with refuse loading duties throughout the working day Good communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and dependable Flexible attitude and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks Commitment to safe working practices Clean driving licence desirable What's in It for You?
