Pay & Overtime0–12 months experience £16.06 – £20.00 per hour
12 months–3 years' experience £16.41 – £20.51 per hour3+ years' experience £17.66 – £22.07 per hour Already experienced?
If you've held a PCV licence and worked as a bus driver for at least 12 months within the last 4 years, you'll join on our 2nd–3rd year pay rate.
You'll also receive:
Sign-on to sign-off pay Premium rates after 9pmWeekend enhancements
Overtime paid for all hours worked above your contracted hours

Working Pattern You'll work a rotating pattern of 5 days on, 2 days off, with shifts planned 6–8 weeks in advance, helping you plan your life outside of work.
Typical shift start times include:
Mornings from 4:00am️ Afternoons from 12:00pmEvenings from 6:00pmRegular overtime is available, depending on business needs.
Please note:
Fixed shifts (such as permanent mornings or evenings) are not available.
What You'll Need To join Arriva London you'll need:
A valid PCV Category D licence
To be aged 18 or over
No more than 6 penalty pointsA current Licence for London, if you've worked for another London bus operator within the last six months
To pass a drug and alcohol screening
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
