Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative (Hybrid Role) Paddock Wood | £19.50 per hour | Monday to Friday | Temp to Perm Are you a reliable Class 2 Driver looking for a varied role with a great work-life balance? We're recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established waste management company for a Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative to join their team in Paddock Wood .

This hybrid position offers the perfect mix of driving (40%) and yard-based duties (60%) , providing a varied and active working day. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role Pay: £19.50 per hour

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 2 (Category

C) vehicle for collections and site movements. Load and unload waste materials. Break down and process waste items within the yard. Assist with general waste management operations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Work closely with the transport and yard teams to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. What We're Looking For Valid Class 2 (Category

C) driving licence. Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience . Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card . No more than 6 penalty points on your licence. Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties. Reliable, punctual, and happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions. A good understanding of health and safety procedures.
