** Salary**: £34,570.32 Per Annum plus bonus and shift allowance
** Job Summary
** This is a routine role involving the efficient collection and delivery of a variety of packaged consignments and other material which may be either temperature critical or time sensitive. The role requires the use of a light goods vehicle, usually over short distances, but may require travel over longer distances with occasional overnight stays.

Duties & Responsibilities
** The holder of this position may perform the following tasks:
* Drive the vehicle into position for loading and unloading
* Assist with the loading and unloading to ensure goods are stowed correctly
* Check all consignment documentation and ensure it remains with the package(s) at all times, verifying address accuracy and piece count
* Plan collection and delivery routes and liaise with Domestic Desk Controllers where required
* Drive safely and responsibly without endangering self or other road users
* Use communication equipment safely to maintain contact with Domestic Desk Controllers
* Arrange loading/unloading and obtain delivery receipts
* Complete daily and weekly vehicle checks and submit reports with timesheets
* Report vehicle maintenance needs and any incidents or accidents
* Carry out hand-to-hand deliveries
* Wear the correct uniform at all times and maintain it to a high standard.
