As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering fresh bakery products to retail stores while providing a professional and reliable service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
• Delivering baked goods to retail stores
• Safely unloading trays at delivery locations
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time
• Completing daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Complying with driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations
• Operating double deck trailers

• Start times between 04:00 and 09:00
• Flexibility to start within these times is essential
• Average 1012-hour shifts
• Paid breaks on every shift
• Weekend working is required

PAYE (Holiday Pay Accrued)

• £19.22 per hour
• Holiday pay accrued at 13% on top of your hourly rate

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences only (No DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements)
• Minimum of 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Previous experience operating double deck trailers is essential
• Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
• Good communication skills and a basic understanding of English
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
• Applicants must be 25 years or over for insurance purposes
