We are looking for a reliable Shunter to join our team at the DHL London Gateway.

As a vital part of our yard operations, you will ensure the warehouse flow remains seamless:

• Trailer Movement:
  Safely moving trailers between holding bays and warehouse doors.
• Coupling/Uncoupling:
  Connecting/disconnecting trailers, including air lines and landing gear.
• Safety Checks:
  Performing thorough inspections for defects before any trailer movement.
• Yard Efficiency:
  Maintaining an organized site to minimize risk and maximize loading speed. Requirements
• Licence:
  Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) is required.
• Experience:
  
  Previous shunting or TUG experience is highly preferred.
• Mindset: A “safety-first” approach and the ability and flexibility to work the required shifts. There are possibilities for short notice shift availability or long-term plan.
• Immediate start – assessments Monday to Friday between 08:00-16:00

• Hold valid appropriate License (C+E)
• No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, TT’s or IN’s)
• Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
• At least 6 months road experience required.
