Class 1 Tramper Driver

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable company for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join their team. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering the potential for the successful candidate to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. The role is based in Skelmersdale , with work covering UK-wide/GB deliveries . This is a tramping role, so drivers should be prepared to complete nights out away from base as and when required.

The Role Class 1 LGV driving across the UK UK-wide deliveries & collections Tramping and nights out required Professional customer-facing role Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time Good knowledge of the UK road network required Requirements Class 1 (LGV) licence Valid CPC Minimum 1 year's LGV driving experience is advantageous. Less than 1 year's experience may be considered subject to a satisfactory driving assessment.

Drivers must be aged 25 & over for insurance purposes No more than 6 points on licence and no DD, DR, DG, CD, AC, IN, BA or SE/TT codes Full right to work in the UK Less than 1 year's experience may be considered subject to a satisfactory driving assessment Professional attitude and good communication skills Reliable and proactive approach to work Desirable:

All advertised pay rates are inclusive of holiday pay accrual. We also offer the option to accrue holiday entitlement , which can then be taken as paid time off .
