Roles and Responsibilities

Performpre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as standard security and safety protocol and report any issues immediately.

Maintaincleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle and loading areas.

Ensure vehicle is security checked and sealed by an authorised staff member before departure with completed specified documentation.

Drive HGV2(Class
2) trucks to transport catering trolleys, meals, beverages, and equipment to aircraft stands or airport terminals.

Load aircraft as per the galley plans and adhering to company policy.

Load andunload catering on and off the truck at the unit and aircraft in a safe andtimely manner.

Drive on to aircraft as per your training, ensuring you do not deviate from it at anypoint.

Minor maintenance of vehicles i.e., top-up screen wash, ad-blue.

Always drive adhering to airport, DVLA and local rules and or law.

Essential Skills and Requirements

Valid UKHGV Category C (Class
2) licence.
Valid CPC(Certificate of Professional Competence).
Digital Tachograph card.
Previous experience in airline catering, logistics, or customer service preferred, butnot essential.
A team player who can effectively manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
