HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver - Newbridge People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Newbridge . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver to join a busy transport operation, completing bulk deliveries and collections across designated routes. This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver , Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry.

Rates of Pay: £16.36 per hour Overtime paid at £24.54 per hour Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 09:00 start time Finish time dependent on completion of work Benefits:

Your duties as an HGV Class 1 Driver are:
Completing bulk deliveries and collections Driving a Category CE vehicle safely and efficiently Loading and unloading goods where required Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts Following planned routes and delivery schedules Completing delivery paperwork accurately Maintaining communication with the transport team throughout the day Following all Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and Road Traffic Regulations Providing a professional service to customers Essential

Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category CE (Class
1) Driving Licence A valid CPC Qualification Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 1 driving experience

Experience with bulk deliveries or collections Good communication skills A reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach A good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Tachograph Regulations The ability to work independently and as part of a team Training:
