Ecommerce Packers

Overview

Exciting opportunity to work as an Ecommerce Picker/packer in a museum warehouse in central London (South Kensington). Must be available to start ASAP, role lasts until 26 April 2026 due to Pokémon season.

Shift: 07:45 – 16:00. Work 5 of 7 days including weekends. First day starts at 09:00.

Schedule:

2 full weekends in 4 with two days' rest before the weekend and one rota'd day off after the weekend.

Breaks: 15 min morning tea, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).

Pay: £13.58.

• Multi‑SKU, multi‑line picking, unloading from pallets, pricing, and put‑away to meet KPIs.
• Order packing for web store and daily collections by DHL & Royal Mail.
• Use warehousing EPOS and e‑commerce systems (Cybertill, Magento, Ship theory).
• Report inventory discrepancies to warehouse manager or assistants.
• Communicate with museum colleagues across departments, reflecting Museum values and customer service standards.
• Maintain health and safety, fire safety, and HASAW act compliance.

• Minimum of two GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) in English & Mathematics.
• Experience in busy commercial warehouse web order picking environment.
• Experience with multi‑line SKU order picking, unpacking, and loading.
• Comfortable using computer systems and warehousing EPOS.
• Good communication skills – telephone and e‑mail.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Passionate about customer service.
• Ability to prioritise work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Practical understanding of health and safety in a fast‑moving warehouse.
• Physical ability to lift ≤ 20 kg.

The role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and talking/auditory tasks. Light lifting up to 20 kg.
