This position is ideal for someone with experience in Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, or Logistics Operations, who is highly organised, proactive, and confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Salary: Up to £34,000 + Bonus

Location: Chessington

Role Responsibilities:
  • Managing the day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations in line with company standards and performance targets.
  • Overseeing goods-in, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns processes.
  • Ensuring a minimum 98% picking and packing accuracy is consistently achieved.
  • Planning and conducting weekly stock counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
  • Investigating stock variances and maintaining stock loss below 1% of annual cost of sales.
  • Designing and improving warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation and efficiency.
  • Producing regular operational reports on stock movement, accuracy, and slow-moving inventory.
  • Liaising with suppliers and transport providers to ensure smooth and cost-effective logistics operations.
  • Maintaining accurate goods-in and goods-out documentation and system records.
Desirable:
  • Forklift licence.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management or inventory systems.
  • Previous experience in warehouse or logistics management.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Interest or experience within the amusement or leisure industry.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed operational decisions.
  • Flexible approach with a strong commitment to operational excellence.
