Yard Operative

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative on behalf of our client based in Walthamstow.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an independent, family-owned and operated business with over 40 years of experience supplying London and the surrounding regions with high-quality roofing and building materials.

Working as part of a busy yard team, duties will include:

• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Assisting customers in the yard
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Manual handling of roofing and construction materials
• Supporting warehouse and yard operations as required

• Previous yard, warehouse or construction experience preferred
• Good level of physical fitness
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well within a team
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential

• Full-time ongoing work
• Stable hours with early finishes

:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm

Plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 7:00am - 11:00am

Pay Rate: £12.80
