Warehouse Operative

Pertemps is currently recruiting Warehouse Operative to work at one of Royal Mail's busy mail processing centres. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with flexible shifts and competitive pay. Your Role Pick, pack, weigh, and label products based on daily orders. Ensure all packages are properly packaged and sealed. Meet the specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.

Log relevant shipping, order, and label paperwork. Selects and package products for shipment based on customer orders. Uses technology, including smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders. Handles, installs, positions, and moves materials to optimize inventory and meet customer orders. Compares invoices to items received to ensure that incoming shipments are correct. Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation.

Follows safety protocols and reports problems to mitigate safety issues. Requirements Good level of physical fitness – this is a hands-on, active role. Attention to detail and strong work ethic. Flexibility to work weekends and additional shifts. Must pass a criminal background check (DBS) before start. Other Information:

Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00. Pay Rate: £13.02 Duration of Assignment: until 02/10/2026.
