Your profile Job Overview

The Inventory Administrator is responsible for ensuring stock records, preparation, goods movements, receipts, and dispatch administration are completed accurately and within agreed timelines. This role supports efficient warehouse operations by maintaining clear stock information, using company IT systems to record update and administer inventory, communicating stock movements to relevant teams, ensuring all actions are completed in line with company procedures.

Job Responsibilities Stock Preparation & Accuracy
  • Prepare stock for packing and dispatch, meeting quality and accuracy standards.
  • Ensure stock is picked and prepared accurately to prevent errors during dispatch.
Process Administration & Time Management
  • Administer all tasks using IT systems, ensuring efficient and accurate execution of processes.
  • Ensure all goods dispatch and receipts are completed within agreed timescales.
Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate the flow of keep-back stock, ensuring relevant parties are updated on stock levels and movements.
  • Maintain clear communication and information flow between teams to support smooth operations.
Team Support & Leadership
  • Provide team support, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Lead by example, setting the standard for team performance.
Operational Administration
  • Execute online and offline processes to a high standard, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Report any issues or challenges to the line supervisor in a timely manner.
Work Environment & Ad-Hoc Support
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment at all times.
  • Assist with ad-hoc support as required.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • experience using inventory, warehouse, or stock management systems;
  • good written and verbal communication skills;
  • ability to prioritise tasks and meet agreed timescales;
  • confidence working with goods in, goods out, and dispatch processes;
  • understanding of safe working practices in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
