Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse Supervisor We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a specialist technical and engineering business supporting industrial and manufacturing customers. This is a hands-on supervisory position where you'll take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse, including stock control, goods in/out, order preparation and coordination with engineering and service teams.

THE ROLE Key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing daily warehouse activities and maintaining an efficient workflow
* Managing goods-in and goods-out processes
* Booking deliveries and coordinating dispatches
* Maintaining accurate stock levels and carrying out regular inventory checks
* Managing stock replenishment
* Ensuring parts and equipment are correctly handled, stored and labelled
* Preparing parts, equipment and materials for engineers and site teams
* Leading and supporting warehouse operatives
* Allocating tasks and managing team workloads
* Maintaining accurate warehouse documentation and system records
* Ensuring health, safety and workplace standards are maintained
* Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency ABOUT YOU We're looking for someone with previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or experienced Senior Warehouse Operative who is ready to take greater responsibility. You should have:
* Good knowledge of stock control and inventory management
* Experience with goods-in and goods-out processes
* Ability to lead and organise a small warehouse team
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Confidence working with engineering and service teams
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
* A proactive approach to improving warehouse operations A forklift licence would be beneficial but is not essential. Previous experience within a technical, engineering, industrial or manufacturing environment would also be advantageous.
