Shift: 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm Monday Friday Role:
Permanent Salary: £33,000 Quest Employment is currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Control Team Leader to join our clients warehouse operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in stock control, inventory management and warehouse operations , who is confident leading a small team and driving accuracy and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Lead and support the Stock Control team, allocating daily workloads and ensuring deadlines are met. Oversee daily and weekly cycle counts, stock audits and variance reporting . Investigate stock discrepancies, identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate stock records and adjustments using WMS/ERP systems . Oversee goods-in and goods-out accuracy checks. Monitor stock levels, including slow-moving, obsolete and at-risk stock.

Analyse stock-related KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement. Generate, analyse and present stock reports to management. Work closely with Warehouse, Goods In, Goods Out and Operations teams to resolve stock issues. Support training, coaching and development of team members. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health & safety and compliance. Support internal and external audits and participate in continuous improvement projects.

Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in stock control, inventory or warehouse operations . 2 years' stock control/inventory experience desirable. Previous supervisory or Team Leader experience preferred. Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems . Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience leading, motivating and developing a small team. Good written and verbal communication skills. Competent with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools .
