Eastgate Resource is a specialist wholesaler of fantasy and new age jewellery, greeting cards and gift products. We’re looking for a reliable, organised person to help keep our warehouse running smoothly and get wholesale and online retail orders out accurately and on time.

We’re a small, friendly company where everyone’s contribution makes a difference. You’ll work closely with our team, get to know our unusual product ranges and have the opportunity to develop your skills as you settle into the role.

What you’ll be doing
  • Picking and packing customer orders.
  • Preparing products for sale, including adding chains, packaging, labels and inserts.
  • Receiving deliveries, counting stock and checking against packing lists.
  • Checking product quality and reporting damage, shortages or discrepancies.
  • Replenishing picking bins and keeping stock clearly labelled and organised.
  • Carrying out stock checks and flagging low stock levels.
  • Keeping the warehouse and packing areas clean and tidy.
  • Monitoring and ordering packaging materials and office supplies.
  • Weighing and measuring parcels, preparing shipping labels and arranging courier collections.
  • Receiving and checking returned products.
  • Keeping delivery and dispatch paperwork organised.

As you become familiar with our processes, we’ll provide training in preparing invoices, updating stock records in Sage and completing routine customs and export documents.

What we’re looking for
  • Good attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
  • Reliability and the ability to follow tasks through to completion.
  • Care when handling small products and checking product codes and quantities.
  • Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn our systems.
  • Clear communication and the confidence to flag problems.
  • Comfort with practical warehouse work, including standing, packing and moving stock.
  • A willingness to help with the everyday tasks that keep a small business running.

Previous experience in warehouse work, order fulfilment or e-commerce would be helpful, but training will be provided. Experience with Sage or shipping systems would be a bonus.
