Drafter

Semi Gen has an opening for a Drafter. Working on a small high functioning team, this role will have the opportunity to impact the customer satisfaction by meeting demands and paying attention to details for incoming and outgoing materials and products.

As part of the engineering team, the Drafter is responsible for the creation of detailed drawings including semiconductor/thin film fabrication drawings, assembly visual aids, and production tooling CAD tools.

As a Drafter you would be excepted to:

• Process ECNs through the quality management system.
• Develop detailed assembly and fabrication documentation for all product designs, as well as layout and detail design of the necessary mechanical components and assemblies using AutoCAD and Solid Works.
  • Proficiency with Solid Works is required. Solid Works certification is a strong plus!
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD is required. Ability to use Dynamic blocks, parametric features, and all latest software function is a strong plus!
• Develop detailed visual aids to support the assembly of manufactured products
• Work independently on small projects and/or contribute to large projects as a team member.
• Ability to create Photomasks for Semiconductor products derived from customer files.
• Proficiencies with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) required.
• Maintain the top system level CAD model for accuracy and design integrity.

We are looking for someone who has:

• AS Degree or equivalent related experience in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, including written and phone communication.
• Knowledge and understanding of microelectronic manufacturing services and / or Semiconductor products preferred
• Experience with 3-D CAD software:
  Solid Works and AutoCAD required. Adobe Acrobat highly recommended but willing to train.
