Parent Aide - Educator at Northeast Family Services
Northeast Family Services is a premier mental health provider with over 20 years of experience serving children, youth, and families. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our dynamic organization and support families in need.
Responsibilities- Maintain assigned caseload and implement in-home services per DCYF referrals.
- Collaborate with DCYF to respond to referral requests, create treatment plans, and participate in treatment meetings.
- Develop treatment plans with measurable, attainable goals in partnership with families and DCYF.
- Adhere to all documentation requirements including assessment and report writing.
- Report progress to the court system through in-person appearances and written reports as requested.
- Provide parent education and supervised visitation in home and community settings.
- Offer parent coaching and support, including effective parenting strategies, meeting health and educational needs, developmental milestones, meal prep, and budgeting.
- Enforce supervised visitation expectations to ensure child safety.
- Interface with DCYF, the NH court system, schools, behavioral health providers, and other team members to provide quality service delivery.
- Assess client risk continuously and consult with the clinical supervisor regarding safety concerns.
- Provide transportation, including car seat and booster seat installation.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to families’ needs.
- Work evening hours; schedule is flexible to accommodate client needs.
- Document all clinical contacts and services through the Electronic Health System.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma with at least 4 years of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting, OR
- Associate’s degree with at least 2 years of preferred experience in a similar setting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
