Semi Gen has an opening for a Quality Assurance Inspector. Working on a small high functioning team, this role will have the opportunity to impact the customer satisfaction by meeting demands and paying attention to details for incoming and outgoing materials and products.

The Quality Control Inspector performs product inspections utilizing magnified visual aids and mechanical measuring devices to ensure product conformance to internal and customer technical data package requirements. This process includes analyzing technical data packages (e.g. assembly instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, bills of material, specifications, etc.) in order to:
- Identify and resolve issues affecting product configuration
- Identify and assign rework actions necessary to rework production product
- Accept production product work-in-process and approve for next assigned operation
- Must have, or be able to acquire, operator certification for IPC-A-610
- Must have, or be able to acquire, operator certification for J-STD-001
- Ability to review and interpret technical data packages for electronic assemblies
- High School education or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in various commodities including but not limited to; machined, casted and molded components, PCB and electronic assemblies, optical components and assemblies.
- Comprehensive understanding of ANSI/ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances.
- Comprehensive understanding of Mil-Std-883 /Mil-Prf-19500 Requirements.
- Proficient in math to determine conformance to specifications and prints.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Ability to multi-task and proficient with time management.
- Experience using Microsoft Office software.
- Working knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
- Detail-oriented and organized
- US citizenship/Permanent US residency required. This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship or Permanent US residency classification as protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b
