Door Installer

Description

Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is New England's largest one stop source and distributor of commercial building products including acoustical ceiling systems, architectural doors and hardware, drywall, steel framing, insulation, and exterior systems.

We are currently seeking a professional Door Installation Technician with experience installing and/or servicing doors and frames with associated hardware. This position is within our Kamco Lock Solutions Division.

• Experience with Division 8 - Installation of Doors (commercial preferred, wood, and hollow metal) plus frames (interior, exterior, knock-down, or welded).
• Exposure to cylindrical and mortise locks, exit devices, electrified hardware, and general finish hardware such as sweeps, seals, kick plates, and closers. Closers are a plus not a requirement.

• Following all Kamco and general contractor policies, rules, and safety regulations.
• Correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn.
• Proper and safe use of a variety of power tools and hand tools.

• Heavy lifting up to 75lbs
• Strong mechanical aptitude - Experience working with tool in a trade skill environment.
• Basic computer and technology experience including the use of apps, cellphones, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
