LocationThis position is based in our Lone Tree, Colorado office.
Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and interpret Contract Documents (RFP, specifications, etc.).
- Perform all tasks related to quantity takeoff and pricing of design-build projects in the infrastructure market.
- Coordinate with estimators and engineers/designers to provide constructability input and value engineering for preliminary project plans.
- Participate in Task Force Meetings, brainstorms, and working sessions with estimators and engineers/designers.
- Identify, quantify, and communicate Risk throughout the estimating process.
- Perform site visits and investigations as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related degree preferred.
- GPA above 3.0 preferred.
- 0-2 years’ experience in estimating.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong mathematical and computer skills.
- Must be able to meet deadlines.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Must be willing to travel as the job requires.
- Regular, reliable attendance.
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
$80,000 - $89,180 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
