Our procurement team, known as Kiewit Supply Network supports all of our market areas and focuses on delivering the best equipment, materials and services to our organizations. We are adding a Senior Supply Chain Contract Specialist to our team to support our Western region Infrastructure projects. Our Infrastructure team builds roads, bridges, dams, rail and transit, aviation and underground projects. In this role, you will own contracts from start to finish for your assigned materials/equipment and services.

You will be expected to negotiate T’s and C’s on contracts, purchase materials, manage pricing and quantities, monitor shipments and resolve material and equipment issues. This is a great opportunity for an early to mid-career Supply Chain professional that wants to grow and advance their career in procurement, complex contracts and learn more about construction. We’re looking for a team player that is eager grow, & able to drive processes within the supply chain functions so that our project teams can deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

This position could be located out of our Lone Tree, CO OR Westlake, TX Offices

Responsibilities
  • Provide all aspects of supply chain management and procurement support for our projects, including but not limited to contract development, execution, administration, and management.
  • Liaise effectively amongst legal, construction, engineering, and management to timely and efficiently execute contracts and elevate and resolve issues.
  • Implement and maintain consistent procurement practices and procedures to deliver value add services to our projects in accordance with project, district and corporate policy and expectations.
  • Act as a front line resource for all things Procurement for our projects including supplier quality surveillance, logistics, expediting, materials management and category management.
  • Cross functional coordination amongst multiple disciplines, departments, projects, and districts.
  • Management of ERP administration, procurement reporting, and issue escalation/coordination.
  • Procurement documentation drafting, reviewing, coordination of internal/external approvals as appropriate, negotiating, execution, administration, document control and issue mitigation.
