Kiewit Industrial and Water Engineering (KIWE) is seeking an Entry‑Level BIM Designer. The successful candidate will work on a variety of construction projects, contributing to our mission of making a difference through the projects we deliver. Your expertise in Revit, clash detection, modeling, and Navisworks will be instrumental in driving project success.

LocationThis position is based in our Lenexa, KS or Lone Tree, CO office.
Responsibilities- Assist in the execution of multi‑discipline project design deliverables in Revit, as assigned by the project lead.
- Work in a team environment with other designers and architects/engineers to meet project goals.
- Provide quality checks for deliverables in accordance with company standards.
- Participate in BIM/Revit process, tool, and standard development/maintenance.
- Become familiar with company “design‑build” engineering design processes.>
- Completion of a vocational training program, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Aided Design or Architectural Technology; or high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year of BIM design experience using Revit and/or Navisworks.
- Demonstrates ability to interpret multi‑discipline engineering and vendor documents.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with other team members and disciplines verbally and in written form.
- Knowledge and experience with BIM software (Revit and/or Navisworks) is required.
- Basic knowledge of the latest computer operating systems is required.
- Knowledge of basic spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs.
- Regular, reliable attendance.
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or as part of a team.
- Perform work safely and effectively, following oral and written instructions, warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
Base Compensation: $52,000 – $66,560 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
