CT Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross‑section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for medical diagnosis. The role requires accurate interpretation of scanning instructions, contrast administration, patient positioning, and equipment operation.

• Prepare and operate CT scanning equipment, position patients, adjust immobilization devices, and set exposure factors.
• Communicate independently with patients ranging from newborn to late adulthood.
• Demonstrate concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and colleagues.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures, including positioning and equipment adjustments.

• Graduate of a 24‑month AMA‑approved school of Radiologic Technology – Certified by ARRT.
• ARRT(RT)(CT) required; CE compliance;
  Current BLS certification required.
• 1 year diagnostic experience required; CT experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree.
