Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for a hospital imaging department requiring at least 6 months of recent MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current experience as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• GE equipment experience preferred
• Cardiac MRI experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based MRI unit using GE 1.5T equipment
• Performs basic MRI studies including head, spine, and abdomen, as well as cardiac and functional MRI
• EMR/charting systems include Meditech and Centricity PACS
• 13-week assignment with a schedule of Friday through Sunday and Tuesday, 11A-9:30P, totaling 40 hours per week
• On-call required Saturday nights from 9:30P-7A
• Join a team of 4 full-time and 3 PRN staff, with 3 full-time techs on day shift
• Evening coverage includes 1 tech from 7P-11P when the unit remains open until 11PM
• Best fit for a self-motivated, positive, and proactive team player
• Facility does not accept local candidates and enforces a 50-mile radius rule
• First-time travelers may be considered
