Travel RN - Mother Baby - Post Partum

American Traveler is hiring a Mother/Baby RN for a night shift position requiring 1 year of recent Mother/Baby experience and NRP certification.

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current Mother/Baby hospital experience required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• NRP must be Advanced 9th Edition
• Lactation experience preferred
• Transitions experience preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

• Works in a 26-bed Mother Baby unit
• Day shift staffed with 1 charge RN, 7-8 RNs, and 1 lactation consultant
• Night shift staffed with 1 charge RN and 6-7 RNs
• Patient ratios typically 1:3 to 1:4, though not guaranteed
• Uses Meditech/CPN EMR system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Perform circumcisions and educate newborn parents on safety, nurturing, and infant health
• Compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanor with a can-do attitude is valued
• Patient care experience is a priority for this role
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
