The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience and maintain a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operation, prioritizing the guest’s needs.
• Uphold and execute the Food & Beverage standards.
• Perform food & beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, merchandising, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to maintain and promote displays and organize backroom space.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to policies.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Comply with all applicable adult beverage laws.
• Use and maintain PPE; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and drive-up while ensuring compliance with laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age (Bakery Only) or older.
• Previous food or grocery experience is preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; resolve guest questions quickly; pay attention to detail.
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within set time frames.
• Flexible, reliable attendance; willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Climb ladders and handle cash register operations as needed.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds; tolerance for temperatures ranging from 34°F to
  -10°F; exposure to allergens.
