RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 20-bed NICU unit with average daily census of 5-8 patients

• Patient ratios based on acuity: 3 feeder/grower (level
2), 1-2 intermediate (level
3), 1 acute (level
4)

• Minimum 2 staff required with 0 babies, night shift typically includes charge nurse and 2 RNs

• Must have 1 year NICU experience required

• Current NRP certification required

• CPN and Meditech experience preferred

• Work with equipment including Omnibeds, bedside physiologic monitors, and GE ventilators

• Perform typical NICU procedures: assist with intubation and central line placement, IVs, lab draws, gavage feedings, and phototherapy

• EMR systems: CPN and Meditech

• Positive attitude and teamwork-oriented personality required

• Located on 2nd floor of main hospital building
