RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, with potential for increased ratios during overflow situations

• Must have experience with neuro and trauma patients

• Neuro certification preferred

• Work with Lenet beds and GE monitors

• Electronic medical record system:
Meditech

• Perform procedures including rapid intubation, chest tubes, and EVD (external ventricular drain)

• Must be flexible and willing to change assignments mid-shift to accommodate patient acuity

• Work in a 30-bed ICU unit with 57 staff members

• Day shift includes 1 charge nurse with RN-to-patient ratios of 2-3 patients per nurse

• Candidates without neuro and trauma experience will not be considered
