We’re partnering with a growing construction subcontractor supporting projects across oil & gas, transportation, government, and commercial infrastructure
. This role reports into the President and works closely with Project Management and Operations.

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting function:
  AP, AR, payroll, G/L and job cost accounting
• Responsible for accurate monthly financial and management reporting
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning
  , and working capital management
• Manage project accounting
  : job costing, revenue recognition, change orders, and profitability analysis
• Oversee billing (including AIA progress billings), pay apps, retention, collections, and deposits
• Prepare and review WIP and job cost reports
  ; support PMs with insights and course-corrections
• Maintain internal controls, policies, and compliance (including subcontractor documentation)
• Improve processes and systems; mentor and develop the accounting team

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years in construction/project accounting
• Strong knowledge of percentage-of-completion
  , job costing, WIP, and construction billing practices
• Comfortable building best practices in a growing environment
